A Living Will declares your wishes whether it be for all measures of life support to be initiated and continued despite your condition or for all measures of life support to not be initiated and not be continued in view of your condition.  You can add whether or not you desire specific treatment such as antibiotic treatment, dialysis, tube feeding, blood transfusions, or chemotherapy.

Living Wills:
Without a Living Will in place, some of the most heartbreaking and most vitally urgent decisions of your life can be left entirely in the hands of medical professionals and your devastated family. Let your Family "off the Hook" -- The Living Will is your voice with your beliefs and desires documented!!

A Living Will is not the same as a will that disposes of your property.  A Living Will states your wishes for your medical care if you become unable to make decisions for yourself.  If you become terminally ill or become permanently unconscious and in a vegetative state, a Living Will would declare your desires for treatment.  The Living Will could declare that you wish for all measures to be taken to prolong your life no matter what, or the Living Will could declare that you desire to have just pain relief and allow you to die without prolonging your life with ventilation and nourishment.

It is an important document to have at any stage in your life. It is a legal document that is designed to express your wishes for end-of-life care when you are unable to make those decisions or communicate them yourself. Remember, without a Living Will in place, some of the most heartbreaking and most vitally urgent decisions of your life can be left entirely in the hands of medical professionals and your devastated family.

Many of us have living wills.  But when an unfortunate incident occurs, we have our living wills at home in a safe or in a safe deposit box somewhere.  Certainly the Emergency Department will never be able to determine if your situation is terminal in a few hours, but later when you are in the Intensive Care Unit for several days to weeks with no chance of ever making a decision for yourself again, let your family and friends "off the hook" and carry that living will in your wallet.

You can fax or mail the living will after the document is signed.

We will also take living wills already made and shrink them down to wallet size.  The cost for this service is only $20.00.

The Cost of the actual Living Will is only $35.00.  If you choose to have it notarized, usually an additional $5.00 is charged by the notary.

We also make Living Will Refrigerator Magnets for only $30.00.  Remember the refrigerator is where the local Fire Department looks for pertinent and important medical information on emergency response calls.
